PMC SafeSide Design & Tested Edge Protection System

At PMC we have being working closely with Specialist Designers & Edge Protection manufacturers. We have developed, designed & tested the PMC Safe Side System to fit many different types of steel detail, from traditional column fixings to large overhang details.

Our new system is based on a aluminium ‘Beam’ attached to the structural steelwork complete with a safety net covering the roof overhang detail which has been independently designed and tested in accordance with:

• BSEN 13374:2004 to ‘Class B’ specification

• BSEN 1263-2:2002 the standard for ‘specifying the anchorage and positioning points of safety nets onto structures’.
