Safety Netting
Falls from height are the main hazards associated with the industry today. The Health & Safety Executives are targeting unsafe working practices within this industry & where practical preferring the installation of safety netting against the use of safety harnesses & running lines.
P.M.C. – Safety Netting believes that safety netting offers unhindered & increased movement for workers above, whilst offering total protection within the netted area with freedom below for other trades. The safety nets are rigged below the steel work,
Safety Netting can be erected to Pre Cast / Metal Decking using specially
designed clamps thus allowing the beams to sit directly onto the steel work & not trapping any tie cords.
Falls are the main hazard in the roof work & when working at height. Operatives are exposed to leading edges, fragile roof sheets, skylights & partly fixed sheets from which they can fall.
The safety nets are normally rigged as close to the underside of the roof as possible tying around the structural steel work members.
Safety Netting installed by our trained CSCS Safety Net Riggers will allow unhindered movement for those working above whilst offering you peace of mind that they are working within a protected zone.
Safety nets, complete with debris overlay attached, will not only protect those working above from falls but will also protect those below from falling materials or equipment. This will also allow greater program flexibility for the main contractor.
Safety netting can be installed in almost all roofing & flooring situations to prevent injuries due to falls.
The nets can be suspended from the around the steelwork, underneath the steelwork using specially design clamps or over wallplates utilising tested ‘wall hangers’ to protect the persons working above from falls.
Our safety netting is manufactured in accordance with EN 1263-1.Each net is subjected to a vigorous inspection by our trained warehouse staff prior to being allocated to a specific project & tested annually to ensure it meets the required standard.
All of our safety net erectors are trained to the CSCS Safety Net Riggers administrated scheme ‘FASET’ (Fall Arrest Safety Equipment Training) & hold ‘IPAF’ (International Powered Access Federation) licenses to operate mobile elevating work platforms.
PMC - Safety Netting offers affordable protection whilst working at height throughout the U.K.
